ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Caroline and as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I was born and raised in São Paulo- Brazil. As soon as I graduated in Early Childhood Education I decided to go to the United States to learn English. During those years I lived with an American family and I could learn a lot about their culture and also practice my fluency in English. I also had the opportunity to teach Portuguese to American kids where I taught the Brazilian language, history, customs, theatre and much more. We used to host the annual cultural fair, educational seminars for families, and professional development courses for Portuguese language instructors in conjunction with Georgetown University. It was an amazing experience!

In the US I fell in love with the Montessori method so back in Brazil I did my certification by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and I started working in an American school as a Montessori teacher. I also took a CELTA certification and started teaching English to adults in a nonprofit organization on the weekends.

In my free time, I love to travel, be in touch with nature, discover vegan restaurants/try recipes and do yoga. I love yoga so much that I decided to combine my passion for kids and yoga and I am also a yoga teacher certified by Rainbow Kids Yoga.

In 2021 I launched an online Project to help parents and educators to create a more respectful relationship with their children. Since then I’ve been travelling with my partner around the world, helping parents and their kids. Living abroad was one of my biggest dreams so last year I went to Italy to take my citizenship and after a long journey, now I finally can say I’m half Italian too. The European Passport gave me the opportunity to work in Australia and I am super excited about this new chapter in my life. My goal is not only to teach my students our language but especially to share with them our amazing culture and traditions.
